When I did my review of the Wolfman Legacy Collection, I complained that it had been included in that set, not because it isn't a GREAT movie--better than any of the Larry Talbot ones, exactly as you say--but because it DOESN'T feature Larry Talbot. The Universal marketeers should have held it back for the "Universal Horror Classics" collection... which would have meant there was actually a true classic in that set rather than the fairly weak B-pictures it ended up containing.Steve Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11263633883997493518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4892719961111573072.post-82984874348987168942010-06-15T04:28:09.515-07:002010-06-15T04:28:09.515-07:00Apart from my irrational love for House of Franken...Apart from my irrational love for House of Frankenstein I agree with more or less all of this, especially that The Wolf Man is a little bit over-rated. Curiously, Werewolf of London seems to me superior to all of them, and the best classic era werewolf movie by miles. But most people dismiss it out of hand, simply because there's no Larry Talbot.Matthew Coniamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00302989527514886503noreply@blogger.com
